Will this Cable work for my new build?

I don't really know where to put this :/

Well the PC I just built had a DVI port and that is the only way I can actually get a post screen. So I was going to order one. Knowing that amazon is like the cheapest place ever to buy stuff, I wanted to but the cheapest cable.

So the port on my computer is a DVI but the cable I want to order has a gap in the middle where the pins are suppoused to be. It can still looks like it can fit.

So will it work even though there are still pins missing?

Yes this cable will work, it is just a DVI-D cable which only sends the digital signal, which is why there are no pins on the middle section, where as a DVI-I cable has pins there the send both a digital and an analog signal.
