Will the r9 270 oc be good for gaming?
I'm putting ths GPU in my rig.
Depending on what is your resolution and the games. But generally, it is good for 1080p gaming with no AA.

Yes. Its what i Call "the Good Enough Card" it will run the majority of games on high. some on ultra depending how demanding they are. Overall Don't expect Insane Performance. It Good card for the money. if you are on a budget and need a good card to game at 1080p then the R9-270 or 270x is an excellent card for the money.
