I am on a budget and I am considering to get the gtx 750. I was looking at the review and benchmarks in anandtech and they say that the card runs battlefield 4 at 1080p in medium quality at about 64 fps which is all I need. But in the description of the testing procedure they say that this test in particular is in singleplayer and that you will get about half that performance in multiplayer.
The questions are:
1- Do you think that the gtx 750 is good enough for bf4 at medium quality in 1080p?
2- What is your experience with battlefield 4 multiplayer vs single player? Does the framerate really drops to half?
3- Do you think the amd r7 260x will offer better performance for the price?

1. It should, my 760 runs it at ultra at decent fps
2. single player was boring not worth playing, would have loved the multiplayer if it didn't crash on me every 15 minutes, didn't notice any drops in the fps

1.Yes depending on what cpu you have.
2. The signal player so sorry boring and dry lookaly it was quite short the only reason I played it was to unlock the m249 and some other weapon
3. The r7 260x seem to be the same as the 750 but the 750 ti is a bit faster and not much more money it your are going to be buying a new card i would try get a 750 ti.

BF4 is AMD optimised i'd be looking to get a R7 265 next week as it will be as cheap as the 750TI (RRP is $150 on the R7 265)
I forgot about the 265 that seems like a much better deal. techspot has a good show down of the 265 and the 750 ti.
