Has there been a hardware refresh? I see in the store pictures that it has 2 usb 3.0 ports in the front now. You can see it here:
Wow, never noticed that. Since the dp1.2 release models they’ve only been one in front one in back (I.e. this is not actually anything changed). Technically I even use the same case as the dp1.2 models but they were 1 front 1 back too. I tinkered with more usb3 ports in the very first run of dp1.2 5+ years ago, but it didn’t work out.
I guess I should update the pics but no one has ever noticed. The description is accurate and has always been
Thanks, that clears things up. A feedback though, you should have more usb3 passthrough ports instead of HID ports, I’m currently using logitech G903 mouse, G915 keyboard and also a USB C headphone jack and none of them seem to work with the HID USB ports 
I also want to be able to plug in my thumb drive and additional accessories which is why I got excited when I saw more usb3 passthrough ports. Just junk the HID ports, they don’t seem to do anything.
