Which is the better pair of headphones?

I went ahead and ordered them - mainly for gaming, only a small amount of music production.

I also went ahead and ordered the omnidirectional ModMic.

To be perfectly honest anything at this point would be better than the gaming headset I use at the moment, which I bought about 3 years ago for £25/~$35.

I also forgot to mention that I'm wanting to get into a little bit of content creation, so I wanted the better mic quality for that reason also.

It's possible that the cardioid mic they use just isn't of comparable quality to the uni they use in the ModMic, resulting in a perceptible aural difference.
