Which CPU do you guys recommend?
i7 2600K

i7 2700k
I will be throwing it on a Maximus V Extreme Board and I will be overclocking to about 4.5 gHz MAYBE 4.8. Just somewhere around there and will be cooling it with a Corsair H100i. Heatsink recomendations are nice too.
The i7 2700k isn't really worth the cash difference. It's only 100mhz faster. Stick with the 2600k for now.

Spec wise they are identical. bar the 100MHz difference in both Clock and Turbo speeds. Go with the cheaper 2600k
The better one is the cheaper one. Given the unlocked multiplier on both, they are practically identical.
As for heatsink recommendations, I'd look into the NZXT Kraken series. Beastly coolers if you have the room for them.

i guess that the 2700k should be a processor that is binned higher and theoretically being able to achive a higher clock speed, but i would anyday buy a 2600k, i have one :>
