Hey guys I am taking a discrete math course and I need Latex for my homework. Would you guys know where to get it for Linux?

I can recommend kile as an editor

If its a minor assignment then the browser-based Overleaf works quite well. I used it to convert my thesis to Latex. While not the most advanced tool, its simple browser-based functionality is enough for the basic user.

The easiest way I know to work with it is visual studio cod or notepadqq. Theres probably packages available on the aur.

I know this isn't 'on Linux' in the way you meant it but there are online options if that meets your needs...
