Where to find older version Adobe Flash Player?

So, I know Adobe killed Flash. But I’d like to down load a still working version say 11.6 or 11.7. I have a SWF shockwave “app” I need to run in Swiff.

Can anyone point me to where there is a safe archive?

Thanks

Max

If you can’t find one you might be able to try it with one of the open source replacements.

Years ago I used to use oldversion.com for things like this, but for some reason it won’t open for me right now. Either way it was always a reliable source for me.

Chocolatey also still lists it, so you could install that way too:

https://chocolatey.org/packages/flashplayerppapi

https://chocolatey.org/packages/flashplayeractivex

https://chocolatey.org/packages/flashplayerplugin

Although if it is a Shockwave application, does it really run with flash? I would think you’d need the Shockwave Player for that?
Nevermind, just seems to be the old name from before the rebranding.

Just let it die.

Even those are still listed, they are broken, because the download links are dead.

Some Chocolatey packages do include the software inside the package, but some can’t for licensing or size reasons and download the software during install instead.

This is a tiny app that runs in SWIFF but needs flash player. I see a few sites with the older versions, but they look questionable. I’ll try the alternatives mentioned.

Just the last version is bricked by Adobe. I think the L1 news had a story about a country that got their software bricked by Adobe. And they just reverted back to the previous Flash Player.

Ah well, didn’t actually try it because I don’t have a windows PC at hand

edit:
Actually, the links in the package info work just fine.

https://download.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/pdc/32.0.0.465/install_flash_player_32_plugin.msi

https://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/pdc/32.0.0.465/install_flash_player_32_active_x.msi

I just tried both of them and both start and finish the download…
