Where to find mods for my Games?

I'm still pretty new to PC Gaming(5 months).
I want to know where I can find mods for my games that aren't Skyrim, Fallout, or Valve Games.

Are there mods for games like Assassin's Creed 3 & 4, Splinter Cell Blacklist, Prototype 2, Batman AA, Batman AC, Borderlands 1 & 2, ect. ? I've already looked on sites such as Moddb.com and Nexus Mods and other sites with no luck.

Not every game has mods.

if the game isn't on Nexus, it doesn't have mods

EA games generally dont have mods (thay will allso ban you for useing them in most case's too)

@Zooty & DemonX09  That's too bad I was really hoping for some mods for some of my favorite games. But they still look better than X360

@cooperman Yeh I already heard that Battlefield 3 mods even if they are just graphical would get me banned.

He must have edited that in.....

The reason why games like this don't have many mods is because the devs lock them down and fans aren't too keen to learn every single rehash of an engine to crack. Look at Freelancer from 2001, it has a strong user base to this date and Microsoft never intended it to have mods, but they kept at it and there's loads of them. Half life on the other hand is one of the most modded games ever, and like Doom, it's been opened up tor the community through SDK and official guides on how to mod it.

So your best bet is to search harder, or look for better mods on games like HL, quake, Doom and the like, 'cause there are hundreds, and there's many interesting and obscure ones around.

Half Life, Minecraft ?

Nope. I haven't edited the main post.

Eventually I'll get better games. I just arrived to PC so i'm kinda broke for game money now. Hopefully I'll find some mods that are around in obscure places, or maybe someday just make my own.

I apologize then.
