So I built a decent PC(specs below) and have been plagued by this problem for a while now. At random times the PC will BSOD and restart and lists the error as WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR" I have scoured some forums to no avail and I feel like this the last resort.
Was something hardware related. WHEA = Widows Hardware Error Architecture.. Was was the prefix or suffix behind it? Should have been a bunch of zeros with an x and a number.
I had the exact same problem. In my case it was due to a hardware incompatibility. At first, I thought it was my GTX 580 (which isn't UEFI compatible), but I later found out it was my wifi card. If you have an ASUS wifi card, google it for Intel compatibility. The one I had (http://www.asus.com/Networking/PCEAC66/) was not compatible with Haswell (at all), which is what caused the random blue screens upon boot. Buying the *newer* model of wifi card fixed all my problems.
EDIT: Since you can't find any help online, I'd start troubleshooting by booting with certain parts taken out. It'll be easiest to see what's causing your random BSODs.
I am running 8.1 and I keep getting the "whea_uncorrectable_error" I have no idea why and sometimes it runs fine for a while but I suddenly get a BSOD and it reboots. Are any of these parts incompatible or would it be that I have damaged one of my parts some how? I just finished building this machine a few days ago and just recently started getting this problem. Its a very new build and nothing on it is used. Somebody please help!
