whea_uncorrectable_error

So I built a decent PC(specs below) and have been plagued by this problem for a while now. At random times the PC will BSOD and restart and lists the error as WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR" I have scoured some forums to no avail and I feel like this the last resort.

Specs:

Samsung SSD(OS)+ 1.5TB HDD

Motherboard Asus Z87 Deluxe

CPU Intel 4770K

Case NZXT Lexa S

PSU   Antec 900w

Grapics Card Nvidia GTX 760 Direct CUII OC

RAM  Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB DDR3-1333 (PC3-10600) CL9 Dual Channel Desktop Memory Kit (Two 4GB Memory Modules)

Was something hardware related. WHEA = Widows Hardware Error Architecture.. Was was the prefix or suffix behind it? Should have been a bunch of zeros with an x and a number.

I will post them when this thing crashed again, Thanks

Why you post 2 of everything?!?!?!

I may be signed in twice... shit's getting real

Unfortunately, this is all it gives me :/

hopefully the picture included uploads

Yeah, no prefix or suffix.

I had the exact same problem. In my case it was due to a hardware incompatibility. At first, I thought it was my GTX 580 (which isn't UEFI compatible), but I later found out it was my wifi card. If you have an ASUS wifi card, google it for Intel compatibility. The one I had (http://www.asus.com/Networking/PCEAC66/) was not compatible with Haswell (at all), which is what caused the random blue screens upon boot. Buying the *newer* model of wifi card fixed all my problems.

EDIT: Since you can't find any help online, I'd start troubleshooting by booting with certain parts taken out. It'll be easiest to see what's causing your random BSODs.

Is your CPU overclocked? That can cause that error.

Also don't use the Asus automatic overclocker thing. It's apparently horrible for your RAM.

Does it just set your ram to bad settings or does it damage it?

Hey everyone, I am having the same issues. this is my build as follows:

i5-4670k, asus Z87-Pro, Corsair Vengeance 8gb (2x4) ddr3-1866, samsung 840 evo 250gb ssd, seagate barracuda 3tb 7200rpm, sapphire r9 280x, corsair 850W.

I am running 8.1 and I keep getting the "whea_uncorrectable_error" I have no idea why and sometimes it runs fine for a while but I suddenly get a BSOD and it reboots. Are any of these parts incompatible or would it be that I have damaged one of my parts some how? I just finished building this machine a few days ago and just recently started getting this problem. Its a very new build and nothing on it is used. Somebody please help!

HDD or RAM would be first things to check for me. Swap them out for something you know is stable. If it's cool then best bet after that is CPU or MB
