What the hell is with the tek mouse and pad not working sideways

Turned my mouse 90 degrees and all the sudden its shit. Also happens when you turn the mat sideways too. This is all on a tek mouse and pad. Ive noticed it hiccups sometimes which is bothersome but why. Why you do this. Even 45 degrees. Is this just me or what. This is really weird. That should not happen. Turning it at 45 degrees and moving the mouse any direction does nothing to the cursor. Problem? Some one try plz.

I'll investigate this with my 2 standard issues when I get home

I have color pixelated rtw mat

yeah, the tek mat works terrible for other mouse, but for me it works perfectly with the tek mouse, the tek mouse uses infrared instead of laser so that might be a reason..

is your pad really cold? or hot?

if you open the mouse there is a sort of shroud around the sensor , maybe it came off or the sides came up and is exposing it to the led inside?

hope i was jobsful

yeah mine works fine

You are holding it wrong.

Works fine when the mouse is vertical. But for some reason it doesn't like not being vertical. There must be some werid grain pattern to the mat or something. Works fine on other mats.

maybe give it a rinse?

Actually it's a grain pattern. Helps having a few thousand dollars of microscopes at your disposal. It's pretty weird. They are like stacked ^ shaped. So yeah makes sense. Not going to lie. Tek mouse is pretty much a crap houseing.

Draw an 'X' in the center of the pad with a sharpie. That will help calibrate the mouse.

Yeah no

maybe use one of these to remove the fuzz from the low quality mouse mat?
