What Resolution Do You Play Games At? Survery Win a copy of COD Ghosts

One of the most consistent questions or topics in the forums is asking questions about what type of system to build or what components should be considered by building a PC. Something I do not generally see but influences your experience when using your PC especially if you are gaming is the monitor. It would be great if you could check out the link below and provide feedback to what resolution you are running or considering as a gamer.

For others other it would be great to have a clearer understand of what is important to you when considering a monitor. Resolution and general panel and build quality are important but how important are other factors like perceived response or input lag. Personally I game on an IPS at 2560x1440 and have never had an issue. Additionally I prefer the superior color fidelity , viewing angles and overall improvement in pixel pitch and other panel attributes. That being noted personally using a 120Hz and 144Hz ( as 2 of the 5 displays I own ) I can say the fluid response you have in animation and movement when using a high refresh panel is addictive. Everything is just that much snappier and more fluid. So with that in mind can see the value in a high refresh rate low response monitor offers.

1440p is the master race around here

I am still stuck at 1080p with three monitors. Wish those prices would go down. :)

Still on a 1600x900 display

1920x1080p :(

2x 1920x1080, both asus. i'm gonna get a korean 1440p come christmas

Running higher end games on my laptop monitor @ 1366x768. Other games at 1080p on my second monitor.

Price of going 1440p is what is really holding the tech back. It will get there one day. With 4k becoming more popular. It might drive the prices down for all us average people. You can literally for 300 dollars in gpus and 300 dollars monitors be set up with tri-monitor 1080p. ( give or take a little).

1920x1080......you can keep cod lol

1080. Miss my CRT though. Never had screen tearing with that. Would take up the passenger seat, and was also easier to transport. All I had to do was seatbelt it in, and it never moved. Must have bumped it around too many times, got rid of it because of flickering.
