Required I/O:
- Four or more USB-TypeA
- dual Gigabit Ethernet
- Two physical PCIe slots, of any size
Tasks may include:
- Secondary-GPU Rendering
- Single-thread C/Java/Python Compiling (in a ramdisk)
- High-speed Networking (likely ethernet over infiniband)
- Thunderbolt connectivity (more ‘nice to have’ really)
The Datto NAS boxes I’ve seen, look somewhat promising, & I’ve noticed there are single-board cluster solutions, but I’m just not sure of much w/ these platforms.
