It may have a green words but not sure.
I know when I played it I saw a red-orange (deep red-orange on crt) planet where I can fly around. I was so amazed I didn’t realize I could leave the planet, I hadn’t explored the one on the screen yet.
What is it?
It didn’t take long to load either, maybe less than 30 seconds to launch game and less than that before I was looking at the orange planet.

terminal velocity looks almost like what I remember, I have a feeling there are bars / lines on the forward view of the ship but it’s been so long there’s no telling
Microsoft fury 3, well I didn’t see a deep orange planet, more grey rock.
Zero doubt the game was before 2005 because that is when I played it, and was quite amazed at the idea flying around a space craft.

I think we’ll figure it out, I’ve looked through some top 90s space games but without seeing the beginning of the game and planet, it’s impossible to be sure

I definitely remember an orange atmosphere, as well as orange planet. The sky wasn’t purple and the menu I remember must have been black, I remember it being dark.
