What is the best game controller for pc?

hi,i need recommendations for pc controllers.I cannot get used to using keyboard and mouse.I play spiderman web of shadows and batman arkyam asylum.thanks in advance

The 360 controller should work with those. You can also get some drivers for the PS3 controller but I forgot where. So if you have any of those two, you can save some money. But PC specific controllers... Logitech makes a PS3-like controller but I don't know about any great controller made specifically for PC.

Any standard Xbox360 wired/wireless controller well do fine.

The wireless one needs a USB dongle to be used on PC. The battery pack with the usb cable will only charge the batteries from a usb plug. Just clearing that up.

Huh...I've tried the wireless controller before and I guess it didn't work because I don't have the right USB wire. Can you link me to a 360 USB dongle?

i will most likely get a wired controller.i dont care too much for the wireless.batteries get expensive fast

Alright dude, if you like playstation controllers just download motionjoy. you can connect your ps3 controller and it works awesome.. you can even map the buttons different and stuff. xbox controllers just work usually but i hate those things.

I actually prefer the Dual Shock 2 controllers for all my fighting games and such. I like the d-pad more than the PS3 controller. This is the best thing I have ever purchased:

Man! Why didnt I know about this?!?

I use my PS3 controller and Motionjoy but it is an ass to get to work properly all the time, I also perfer the PS3 controller because of the buttons, the are more tactile, the Xbox pad buttuns are rubber dome and pretty poor.

 

Im getting this right away, have a few PS2 controllers, should work without all the hastle of my surrent PS3 controller not being recognised by the PC half the time.

I just gave up and bought a wired controller. I could never find the dongle in a gamestop store. This seems to be it.
