What happened to Overclock.net?

Anybody know what happened to the computer community? Noteably www.overclock.net ??? They use to be booming pepole now it's like ghost town. I mean it was the place for the water chillers, water bongs and 55 galloon water tank/car radiator cooling mod etc...

Its still active, just less active.
The marketplace there is baller.

I don't participate in it but It comes out a lot in searches, I've learned a thing or two from it.
I suggest we make this one the new go-to overclocking forum:

but yea the everyday activity is pretty much dead. A 30-90 man forum has more activity. It used to be so lively and have so many posts. Even at smaller forums you come back the next day and there's 10-20 threads. And even on old replies there's 10-20 new comments. Nowadays there no more of those really nice content or post anymore just the same newbie threads like how to open chrome and how to raid 0 ssd, then some dummy goes u don't need it if you're on samsung evo they have software for it etc...

  2. they have like 60,000 threads, if not more, it may not look that active per thread but holy hell theres a lot of them.

yea it is.. but if you're a daily reader it's pretty much dead take for instance your data. 2000+ simultaneous users yet 2nd unstickyed post on [Air Cooling] is 1 month old only 100 so view and 5 replies. Alot of the new threads that are 1-2 months old have like under 100 views and less than 10 replies in the computer cases sectioni etc... Yea it's all subjective but yea coming from a height back in 2010 it's pretty sad state on the forums.

You'll find some fantastic build logs there too.

It always comes up when i search for case mods and what not.

I've heard complaints from people that their questions on there go unanswered. So yeah, it's pretty dead if you're looking for help. For general discussion, it may still be alive.
