What do you think of this setup?

after watching Logan's $650 budget PC I decided to change it a little. Btw this is my first time putting it together and this will also be my first time building my own PC. If anyone else thinks they can help me save a couple more dollars would be greatly appreciated!

I am trying to aim to build a budget pc that can play games like BF4, skyrim, dayz, arma 3, titanfall, crysis at high or ultra (I may sound delusional but i'm just a noob) at above 60FPS

pc part picker only has SSD so HDD is fine because I do need 1TB of storage. Costs about $60 USD http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0088PUEPK/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B0088PUEPK&linkCode=as2&tag=teksynd-20

I chose the fractal design case because it's simple and classy looking but I can't find any other case that has USB3.0 and as sleek and cheaper than that.

the processor seems good for my money because the i54770K is way out of my budget but wondering the AMD processor I chose can be overclocked.

If Micro-ATX motherboards work better for my budget please recommend me a cheaper one!

idk if the GTX760 can play above 60FPS at high or ultra but just trying to save money because i can't afford the AMD R9280x but it seems to work really good

power supply seems good enough.

no need to peripherals, monitors or operating OS. Those can come later and i need to dual boot with windows and linux

thank you

Okay so i made a build that i think would be the best for your needs. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3gL58

If you are playing DayZ, you are gona love the greater single core performance of the i5. Also, if you still go AMD, don't get a bulldozer chip, they are horrible.

I cut some corners, but still using quality component's, i managed to fir a brand new R9 280 (non x) into the build. It will perform nearly or as good as the R9 280X, but it is not out of stock, and the price hasn't influated.

This rig should play all the latest games with smooth framerates at 1080p with high/ultra settings

Hope i helped :)

I think you just beat me with better options and choices but i don't mind paying an extra $20 since my choices are $696. Thanks I will save the link

Yeah, whatever you do, don't go with the parts you picked.  hoocee12's build is a lot better.

Here are a couple of reasons why you shouldn't go with the parts you picked:

- Your CPU is an old architecture, and slow at that.

- That motherboard would never support your power hungry 8 core CPU, due to a cheap 4+1 power phase design with very little cooling.

DayZ and Arma like Intel CPUs, due to their strong single core performance.  The R9 280 is a rebranded HD 7950, and is inbetween performance of the GTX 760 and 770.

BUT

Although 430W is fine for hoocee's build, the CX430 only has one PCI power cord.  You will need two to power that graphics card.

It's a little bit pricier, but a solid build otherwise:

thank you, yeah I found out how you and hoocee's recommendation is better but could you recommend me a case that has USB3.0 I don't think the R9 280 can fit the fractal design core 3000 (USB3.0) unless i remove the driver bays, I do need it in case i want a SSD later on. I appreciate the help a lot! really!
