I'm considering upgrading my GPU soon. I just upgraded my Motherboard and CPU from an old 1st Gen Core i3 build to an AMD FX 8350 build (and OMG the difference is unbelievable!!!!) but I think my GPU is creating some bottlenecks... just because quite frankly it sucks....
Currently, I have a Galaxy 650 GTX. What do you recommend as an upgrade that's at or around 150$, if anything?
I would advise you to try to come up with another $30 for a MSI 7950.
$150 will get you a HD7850

for $150 get a 7870. about eveything amd right now is a firesale. The 7870 will smack the 650. But i agree with anarmypig. If you can save up a little bit more get the 7950. My friend picked on up a week ago and it's stupid fast.
For some crazy reason the cheapest HD7870 at the moment is $170 ^^^
Scrape together a few more pennies and get this: http://amzn.to/15N5DG1. A 7870 for $169 is awesome. If not, try to get this: http://amzn.to/1dBpcCE... But it makes so much more sense to get the 7870. A 660ti would also be cool, but I can't seem to find them on sale... Even then, I'd take the 7870.
i should mention that it was more local. Locally I've seen one or two 7870s for $150ish +-$5 but yea I should've said that most of them are about $170 online. Which if you can make that climb to that price point. is well worth it.
