What can be played on a Gt 210?

So right now, I’m without any graphics except a lonely gt 210. I can output at 1080p 144hz surprisingly. But its hard to play any semi modern games. Csgo can be played at 45fps on lowest possible settings @720p. But, while I’m stuck on this old hardware, I had the thought. What really old school games should I jump on while I’m sitting on all 16 cuda cores of the Gt 210? I really like shooters, but I’m really open to play most anything. Give me suggestions and I’ll see about picking some stuff up cheap and then maybe I could do old school game reviews? It sounds kind of fun and it would give me something to do .-. :>>> Thanks for reading!!! :>>>

I take it you can’t just throw together a cheap APU rig?

I’ve got a 980 ti in the mail, but to help fund that purchase I sold my Gtx 770 4gb, and the only thing I had lying around was the gt 210.

any game prior to 2004 maybe. a lot of the really ultra low end stuff don’t see much upgrades at all in performance when it comes to GPU generations, they don’t really expect you to use them for gaming.

CS 1.6?

Also totally shoudla gone with a non X Fury man

The 980 ti is just faster, and Nvidia has sorted out the drivers better then AMD has for the Fury Line.

Minesweeper. Seriously though, maybe KOTOR 1 and 2, Battlefront, and some gold ole Morrowind. The only games you need

but is it 300 dollars faster? at 4k the difference is really not all that much, plus if you ever get into an adaptive sync display the free-sync ones are fairly less expensive.

And I dunno man, that driver DRM is pretty shady shit.

Otherwise, just emulate games as well

Battlefront is a really good idea. I’m definitely going to get on that! I already have it xD I can’t believe I didn’t think of it!

I’ve already got a standard 144hz 1080p panel, and I won’t be changing for a very long time. I really just wanted the 980 ti because I can make it last longer then I could a Fury. My thought was to buy the best I can afford and then make it last as long as it can. Fury interested me but AMD drivers are a scary proposition lately. The driver DRM is really bad on Nvidia, but I want the fastest stuff. I already like GeForce Experience, but I don’t want to fork over my Email. I’ll probably be one of the guys using the quarterly drivers from the Nvidia site.

I’m more on the get what’s pretty good for the money, and just save what you saved for the next generation, usually you end up with a pretty big performance jump for the same cost, plus there’s plenty of other things to buy with the saved cash usually.

Minesweeper, pong, CS:GO, JC2, Insurgency, hello kitty island adventure and marmite.
Marmite is a game now.

I put a couple serious answers in there which should run on it fine considering I got away with playing them on intel integrated graphics for a while.

Dude I had birthday cash and a craving to have the best. I really want to be able to play Battlefield and Battlefront maxed out at 144hz and not worry. I didn’t pay anything for the card because of birthday money from my boat load of relatives, and because of the money I got from a friend who was eager to buy my 770 4gb.

Marmite is officially the top of my list.

Good news everybody!
It’s a board game so you won’t need the GT 210 at all!
