The joke I thought of in the closet, that I thought crosses the line, but I was going to say when I popped out of the closet the first time to see their reaction was
“Hey, If I’m coming out of the closet to bring you linux, does that make me the linux fairy?”
but I thought that was maybe just on the other side of inappropriate and kept that to myself.

A motif where you kidnapped and coerced linus to use linux would have been pretty funny, though
there’s room for camp in that scenario, maybe a slow cross dissolve from a dolly shot of his horrified clickbait face, to a framed picture of torvalds in a pentagram of usb flash drives and santeria candles.
or a recreation of the ash vs. evil dead intro, where he reads from Wang’s Mastering Linux instead of the necronomicon
