Since last I posted everyone suggested I just get a temporary GPU and build the machine until I get the last few parts. So here it is! Unicorn vomit everywhere and I love it.

Corsair did not sponsor this topic but I did like their 680 case with 115i cpu cooler and 1600w psu so I went ahead and got a k95 + m65 rgb keyboard and mouse. Their ram costs to much and G Skill is what is recommended for the 3990x so I got the 256gb 3600mhz kit, the RGB not Neo, and everything seems stable at 3600mhz. 2 m.2 2tb sabrent drives. All on the Asus Rog Zenith 2 extreme alpha motherboard.

Temporary GPU is a RX5700 rig strix

Displays are a 55inch 1080 240hz vizio and a 43inch 4k rog swift 144hz PG43UQ.

What are your cpu temps like? Does the corsair cooler do a good job at taming that behemoth?

Between 40-60c but mostly 55c on average on full load but I haven’t fully put her through the hoops yet
