Weird issue with Asus WRX80 board - Qcode F3 on boot

Hello everyone,

I had a system that was fully working, and then I tried to upgrade it.
went from 2x8 ddr4 3000 ram to 8x32 3200 ram and attempted to add 6 more NVME drives on hyper m.2 cards.

cpu is the 3955wx
mobo is the Asus wrx80 sage wifi
GPU is the power color 6700xt

when trying to boot into unraid. before I was the getting either the Qcode 96 or F3 and now screen. I updated the bios in case it was a memory issue. Then I get a F3 error and the Asus “press delete or f2 to go to the bios” splash screen. now Im getting the C5 qcode error and it won’t progress past that.

any ideas?

And after clearing the CMOS a few more times, switching back to the original ram and back, and attempting to boot without ram, I once again get the F3 Error with the splash screen with only one of the 32gb ram sticks installed in slot A1

I added in all 256gb of ram and cleared the cmos a few more times and suddenly it works again… no idea why
