Week of Esoteria Challenge

We have the linux challenge, we have the Break a Leg stuff, now we do the most illogical thing possible.

A WEEK OF ESOTERIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The idea here is a week in an OS of your choice that isn't Windows Linux or OSX. I'll border BSD on it as some BSD are rather.... odd. But the more wierd the better. Take an OS that you have an interest in, Haiku, AROS, Temple, and run it for a week. Take screenshots, do your stuff in it, you do you booboo. If you have an OS that you recently found then post about it here as well! Maybe someone will try it for a week!

Some ideas.

AROS / Icaros
TempleOS
MentuetOS
Syllable
Haiku
RISCOS for RPi
React OS.

Good luck!

Since most everyone has an X86 machine lets stick with little endian X86 OS's or ones that can run on a pi :3

I mean, PPC isn't that unreasonable, plenty of folks have an old mac laying around

and weird ports are part of the challenge/fun!

Would qubes fit into this?

that's just a gussied up type 1 hypervisor,

If its an OS and NOT OSX Linux Windows or a common BSD then sure.

i don't see KolibriOS anywhere kek

I for one will run Icaros on my i7 laptop, possibly for forever, but in dual boot with windows 7. I'm relatively familiar with it but I want to dev for it and build stuff for it. Hopefully I can do all that I need to do just by building apps.

didn't they make x86 version of amigaOS
like recently

AROS. Its been around since 95. Icaros is the common PC build.
