So, a few months ago, I bought the Asus 144hz monitor. I originally was going to sell my 32 inch tv to replace it but then thought, why? I can go dual monitors. So far it's been great, I usually have videos, movies, or monitoring software on the top, while I do my thing at the bottom, usually gaming, research etc. I also have the top tv hooked up to my PS4 so when I have company we can game on two different platforms.....but I digress.
So what I want to know is, is there a good setup for vertical dual screens in terms PC of gaming?
Yes, just like normal dual screen gaming to create a more immersive game; is it possible to do that vertically? Is it practical? Or is it possible to have, say, a different in-game menu on the second screen? Or are those features only supported by certain games?
Basically, what can I do with vertical dual screens in terms of gaming.
In my experience, almost zero games support multi-monitors, in terms of showing different things on different screens. The only thing you can really do is Eyefininty, but that's more for triple screen setups in horizontal positions.
Hm...yeah, that's what I thought. All multi-monitor gaming I've seen is all horizontal. I thought that there would perhaps be a vertical configuration.
