This is a question born of curiosity, has anyone brought one of these aliexpress four way V100 baseplates and actually loaded in four V100s and used it for AI workloads?
I am curious to hear how it went and if it is actually worth it.

Yes they are real, they work.
I have bought many pcie experimental hardware purchases from aliexpress/alibaba. If they are worth using kind of depends on how technically capable you are to make it go, how much you are willing to learn and experiment, and if you have access to known working V100’s. Most of the setups I see in this space water cool the GPUs as well.
