I hope everyone is fine!
I am running manjaro for some time now and I am really happy with it in general, I have moved to it from Pop OS!.
My only problem is that I can’t make the OS (I guess) or the software in my OS (Skype, Discord and OBS Studio) to detect the kinect v2 as webcam. They all see it’s microphone and it works! But not the camera, I have opened a topic in manjaro’s forum but no solution there.
My system is:
AMD Ryzen 9 3900x
Asus ROG Strix x570-E Gaming (2203 bios)
32GB ram at 3733
AMD Radeon ROG Strix RX480 8GB
The kinect is connected to USB 3.2 Gen 2. As far as I can see in my manual, all ports are like that.
I do the protonect command but I don’t really care for it. Even if it works, still no program within my OS sees the kinect as webcam!
Any help would be appreciated!
