USB c 10gbps worth it?

Bit of a noob question but I can’t find an answer here or elsewhere:

Are there devices other than storage drives that I’d need the 10gbps usbc option for? Any advantages that I might be missing if I picked the 5gbps?

Let’s start here, what do you need the cable for?

usb-c can support faster charging too generally (but only with support of source + cable + device)

Sorry, I missed a detail: I’m asking about the usbc option for this levelonetech KVM switch.

If you aren’t using large removable storage then then it probably isn’t necessary. I would just say that if you plan on keeping the KVM for several years then I’d just spend the extra $90 and not worry about it.

Yeah, that’s what I’m thinking at this point. Thanks
