I currently have a mid 2009-2010 Macbook pro with a 2..26Gz intel core 2 duo with 2 gigs of ram I'm thinking of either upgrading my current macbook (the one stated above) Or buy sell it and buy a new one with a dual core i5 3.1 turbo boost with 8 gigs of ddr3 1600 ram. The upgrades i'd do to my current one would only be a SSD and get new 8 gigs of ram. But I don't think the core 2 can handle of of it not sure how i'd work. Someone help me decide witch is best.
if you are doing basic things upgrading ram and to a ssd will make it much faster. If you are using programs that need a good cpu the only option is to get new. Doing thing like going on the internet doing word processing and stuff dont need a good processor
