I'm a bit confused about todays pricing of the UAP-AC (their first AC model for indoor use). When I check local stores and online auction sites it's notably more expensive than the newer models. Why is that? Any good reason why or just legacy pricing?
I can't really notice any difference between it and the newer AC pro models.
Legacy pricing. Don't buy it, it is missing key features such as band steering.
How to actually determine the version? - specially on Amazon(.de) as it's not overly obvious with them all having the same damn name ^^
The old model is UAP-AC. Current models are UAP-AC-LITE, UAP-AC-PRO, and UAP-AC-EDU. I wouldn't get the lite version as it doesn't work with the standard 802.3af PoE.
Though there are several revisions - some can do monitoring - mine don't. That is the confusing part.

I own the AC-Pro, worth it IMO. Really depends on your set up.
