Is there any way to "spend down" iTunes credit on your account (I don't want to buy any Apple products or services, additionally I don't game so no micro-transactions). I have already redeemed the iTunes gift cards and am regretting it, are there any apps that natively draw from the iTunes credit stash for real world goods (Walmart, Amazon)?
Unless I am mistaken there aren't any ways to spend iTunes credit (Apple ID credit?) outside of Apple's own products and services.
This would make sense, as allowing a customer to use your gift card to purchase from someone else seems like a poor decision from both a financial and marketing perspective.
I can't think of any companies that do this, or any reasons that they would.
The only way I see is to buy some music you want, spin up a Windows VM and "liberate" it from iTunes.
