I agree, just imagine what else civilisation could have done with a few trillion.
Shares probably fell so much because of the information:
Rightmove announced plans to invest £60m over the next three years and a large part of this investment will focus on AI.
The company said it aimed to boost annual revenue growth to more than 10% by 2030.
However, it also projected a operating profit growth of 3% to 5% in 2026, which is lower than its forecast of 9% growth this year.
Anytime you forecast much lower than what original expectations were your shares will drop, but then to also say you will be spending millions to only get revenue growth of 10% and that the timeline for that is expected a half decade out? lol. Ya nose dive time. It isnt just about AI, it is about the company having so poor future outlook with recovery estimated to be years down the line.

If they had a more solid investment plan, I don’t think the damage would’ve been so significant. It’s not just the revenue lost on this one, it’s that it is useless investment.
