Hello.
The DAC specified in the subject line performs normal under Windows, but under Ubuntu 20.02…not so great !
I have 2 sources:
- Nvidia GTX1070 through HDMI to Dell’s soundbar under the monitor
- Uca202 through USB.
Source no.1 performs normal, but source no.2 has a clicking, chirping, much like old days DOS SB issues and it seems that speed it’s slightly slower. Not so pronounced, but noticeable.
Issue presents itself in any browser while watching YouTube or any other thing with sound.
Killed pulseaudio, force-reload alsa, reboot system.
Do anyone know a fix or a reason for this behavior ?
My system:
Intel-S5520HC M/B with (1) X5650, 12 Gb RAM (1333), 650W Delta PSU, USB 2.0
If any other info it’s needed, please ask.
