Ubuntu and Vr

Hello all im looking to move from windows to ubuntu , I have everything working I need except the Vive wireless ap (Does not detect steam vr being installed) and Goxlr program doesnt fully work/launch

I have Wine not sure when I need to do.

I don’t know about the Vive Wireless, but I’m fairly certain you won’t get the GoXLR software to work.

The GoXLR installs audio drivers on Windows that act as the various channels. Installing those in WINE is just not possible because that’s not how WINE works. WINE uses the audio devices provided by Linux and that’s it, device drivers just don’t work on it.

You can achieve similar results (i.e. creating virtual devices/channels and routing them to your needs) using PulseAudio or JACK, but I don’t know if you’ll be able to control them with the GoXLR.
