The issue itself is pretty simple. I install Ubisoft Connect, I try to run the executable; it looks like it’s loading, and then the window just turns white.
At first, I thought this was an issue with Lutris, since I tried to install it with Lutris many times to no avail. Then, I remembered that I had Bottles installed, so I downloaded the raw .exe file straight from Ubisoft, and installed it via Bottles. The process itself was flawless, but I ultimately ran into the same issue (so at least I now know it’s not Lutris). Has anyone run into this issue before? How did you resolve it? This didn’t use to be a problem until maybe 6 months ago. I tried to update Ubisoft Connect, and it didn’t work after many tries, so I gave up. I tried again with a clean install in February, only to run into the white screen problem.
All the Ubisoft games that I have I bought from Ubisoft’s store, so unfortunately I can’t try to play my games using Steam. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
