What is the best router setup for a small bar...
I like the Ubiquit brand for their Unifi handoff and configuration options.
I'm not sure which setup/models would be best. The space is something like 25 feet by 150 ft. The desire is to handle wifi when the bar is packed with say 80 people. Lots of smartphones. Guessing 45 connected maybe.
Should I go with 3 regular models in this small space or one pro model with mimo in the middle of the room. I'm thinking pro.
Definitely go pro. and make sure you have a good switch to handle that traffic. And a fast internet connection too. I would START with one model and see how it goes, then if you have client bandwidth issues you can add more. No sense spending 3x the money for roughly the same results though.
My Unifi AP standard N version handled 5 guys doing downloads and LAN gaming just fine at my bday party, we got to the point where the bottleneck was my internet connection and we just starting doing everything locally. The Unifi stuff is great.
