I tried the Tp-Link TXE75E in the x1 slot but it refused to work. Did show up in lspci though. Using Ubuntu 23.10.
When I moved it to the bottom x4 slot it works perfectly fine.
Anyone seen this problem? I had an older WiFi card in the x1 slot and that worked perfectly fine.
