to be honest, I think Rob can't really act.
and secondly, Edward has long hair....  it never really says it in the books.. but he has long hair.. I have spoken to few who think he should have had short hair.
the reason they gave Ed the short hair, is because Rob would have looked funny with long hair....  They should have changed actors.
