So lately my dad asked me to build him a Living Room TV PC for him to use for RabbitTV, I've recently finished the build but I think it's very expensive and it almost seems like I'm just building a new PC.
This is the PC Parts I've Gotten.

Yes I know this whole PC seems very expensive but I want help to reduce the price and I want to ask if a graphics card is needed since my parents will mostly use this for TV only, for example watching Online Streams such as shows, justin.tv, etc. Netflix, RabbitTV, etc.
So far the price range they want is around $600-$700
Yes I know that the PC I'm building for them is over price but that's why I'm here, I want help from here to see if you all can help me reduce the price and still make it decent enough to use, since they will mostly use it all day most of the time.
Please help me build this PC
Also I've read a lot about getting a Sound Card for the build since this is going to be plugged into an HDTV.
And also please let either the motherboard or Graphics Card or Sound Card to have an HDMI plug in, so may you all please help me make this build possible and cheaper between those two price range.

Sorry about that I thought I already had the Permalink Copy before
with the new power states and ASUS's EPU and fan xpert it should be pretty cool, quiet, and very low power, I watched a video with tiny tom logan and they had it idle using .2v and he wasn't even using a EPU, HD 4600 is all they'll need for video, they aren't playing games so even the APU's iGPU is grossly unnecissary, , the PSU supports the new C6 and C7 power states, make sure you enable them and the EPU
why haswell and not APU, because they aren't gaming, Haswells Memory controller and cache speed are insanely fast so that makes the desktop environment snappy something you especially notice when using a SSD, when I say fast I'm talking literally 2~5 times the numbers in terms of speed
is 700 too much budget for what they want, oh yeah, you can get the job done probably with a $350 but with that they won't need a new one until that one dies.
Hey man, I put together a build for just videos... While I agree with gigabusterexe, I also think there is merit o processing power incase you wanted to do some transcoding or videro converting on the sytem.
This is also a complete build with a case.. I built it all around a silent HTPC. It's the ideal HTPC.
** It includes dust filters for easy cleaning and the case designed for HTPC

Here is the cheap HTPC
** Video performance will still be perfect and silent... but the case is not a HTPC case.

Run the fans on low and this will be very quiet. All the parts are of good quality, they are just lower end, but will get the job done well.
