How about using Turnstone to setup and maintain a new engineering workstation over time (longer and longer context)?
Unless Wendell or someone comes out and tells me it’s a bad idea, I’m going to give Kappa 20B Q8 a try on the R9700 for this purpose and to continue using it for other homelab/infrastructure projects.
Most likely will be all Ansible to use for the diffs.
End game: have Star Trek NextGen’s “Computer”-like assurances before performing tasks verbally.

Wendell gave me to push to get the WRX80 TR Pro system online from sitting in boxes for years (still rocking the original Threadripper, the 2950x). $100 CPU and $1100 AMD R9700 arrives tomorrow - 2nd R9700 will have to wait. So Q8 for now.
99% of the time it’ll be a developer/firmware/CAD engineer workstation. Currently rocking Aurora-DX and loving the automations around container workflows as it matches my ansible/terraform workflow projects in past. Still haven’t had the time to look into CachyOS…
This will be interesting as I’ll first have to create a “Tool” for it to use distrobox as that’s the only way to install tooling on universal-blue images.
