TURN Server - Hardware Requirements

Does anyone have an idea of what type of hardware I’d need for a TURN server to do video chats for me and a few friends via Synapse/Riot.im?

I’m running into issues starting coturn in Docker and I think it might be hardware related because my CPU usage is spiking. I’ve never done anything with TURN before so any info at all is appreciated.

And I’m running into a “iptables: Memory allocation problem” which I suspect is due to the massive amount of ports? Is this a RAM issue?

What are the specs of the host?

Sure!

4-6 users in a conference call (video) via Matrix Synapse.

It’s on the Linode 4GB plan, so “2 CPUs” whatever that means, and 4GB RAM.

I’m looking to run coturn in a Docker instance.
