Trying to decide on the right fan

so im working on my new pc rig build and i want to upgrade fans from my 3 year old Corsair LL series i currently run. going for a all airflow build on my fractal design meshify c so i was thinking Noctua NF-A14 PWM but wanted to get other thoughts before i pull the trigger

new build will be AMD 3950x on X570

any thoughts would be appreciated

Whats the reason for the change in fans? dont like the colors, to loud, not enough air flow?

mainly loud and airflow…i could care less about color

Whats the CPU cooler? Air or water? (Assuming Air but never know)

air…going noctua DH15 tower cooler

Front fan : 3x 120 mm or 2x 140 mm
Rear fan : 1x 120 mm
Top fan : 2x 120/140 mm
Bottom fan : 1x 120 mm

Are you putting it on carpet or on the desk or hardwood floor?

What market NA or EU or Other? Profile says US state so that narrows down it a bit more for availability / pricing

Both are a tiny bit old but should provide you a lot of good data

its on the a “wood block” desk and i was kinda of going off some data from this video but i will def check out those links

welp your noise concerns kick my go to fans out of the window. ( delta) scythe makes some decent fans.
have used these and can recommended them not totally silent but great airflow and pressure. there are some more that have lower rpm ratings and PWM and a bonus no RGB vomit.

Go for it! They are great. And NF-A12 PWM for 120s because those are simply the best fans money can buy.

Best bang for the buck…

Personal favs for bang for buck silence.

Af and Sp is an important context depending on what case you choose. Something to consider.
