This struck me as funny. A youtube video of a system very similar to my first PC. While these are by far from the oldest good PC games they are definitely some of my personal favorites.

A short list of the highlights;
- Doom
- RotT
- DN3D
- Descent
- Terminal Velocity
- Warcraft 1
Now if only they had remembered to include other great games like; Raptor, Whacky Wheels, Mech Warrior 2 and Outlaws. I don't classify games like Unreal, Chasm, UT and RtCW as retro. In my mind they were the first of true modern 3D engine PC games.
