just bought the above laptop as a daily email./browsing machine it has a integrated Bluetooth and wifi that works in windows but not in linux using 4.17.0-041700-generic kernel. its intel from information when i was running windows. can not find a helpfull howto to resolve this, any ideas?
You can find the chipset using by running lspci. Search the resulting chipset and see what driver it needs.
Since the laptop is recent, and if the wifi chipset is from Intel, then it probably needs iwlwifi, which may or may not be installed by default.
