Transforming my HTPC into a gaming PC

I think you missed the point.

My XFX 7950 fan failed after a month, so I sent it back to the retailer who could not send me replacement, therefore gave me a refund, then I was looking for something in my budget, the MSI 280x only cost me £27 more then XFX 7950. I had to get a new card!

The RM series is gold rated, more importantly it has zero RPM fan, I want my rig to be whisper quiet when not under load.

The HyperX 3K was great, however it was only 120gb, I replaced it with a 250gb EVO, I needed more SSD storage, the only reason I picked up the 120gb EVO too, somebody bought my old SSD for £50 and the EVO only cost £60, so I paid £10 for a brand new SSD. But I will say in my own experience that I feel the HyperX 3K booted into windows quicker.

Thanx! That's an iTX case and I have a mATX motherboard, and I don't "think" they made an AM3+ iTX board? Originally I wanted to go for the Xigmatek Aquila, this case was the next best thing and I am happy with it.

Fair enough.  Good points made.
