Basically someone compromised the downloads of the mod project, hiding malware that targeted “Exodus” crypto wallets. At least a few people got their wallets drained.
Just a friendly reminder that it’s probably a good idea to keep your financial stuff on a separate computer, so the dumpster fire of untrusted code on your gaming PC can’t do anything meaningful.

Funnily enough recently i was thinking that I feel like I’ve not heard many stories of smaller games being hacked or containing malware etc. I’ve always felt that there must be quite a bit out there even on the likes of steam etc. Its also one of the things I’ve been cautious about with the likes of mods and emulators, especially recently with so.e of the spin ups of some of the switch emulators
