Hello everyone,
I’m searching for the original Intel BIOS update R0058 for the Intel Server Board S3420GP, specifically the E51974-405 revision. This board is part of the Intel 5 Series Server family and uses the 3420 chipset with ECC UDIMM support.
Intel has removed all official BIOS downloads for this board, and I’ve checked the Internet Archive, Wim’s BIOS, and Win-Raid — but none of them seem to host the original S3420GP.86B.01.00.0058.BIO or the full EFI Flash Pack R0058.
I need this version to enable full support for 32 GB ECC UDIMM RAM (4× 8 GB). My current BIOS is 0042, which limits memory recognition to 16 GB.
If anyone has:
- The original R0058 BIOS file (.BIO or full EFI package)
- A verified dump from a working board
- A safe mirror or archive link
…please let me know. I’m looking for the unmodified Intel release, not a modded version.
