Threadripper 3970X TIM-aging?

Hi,
i am running a Threadripper 3970x.
I recently noticed that one CCD (CCD2) has a crazy high thermal impedance.

Idle: 42°C - 45°C
Immediate temperatures under load (prime95):
CCD1: 78
CCD3: 76
CCD2: 95
CCD4: 76

reported via Psensor under Linux.

I have already re-pasted: there is no change in behavior.

I have not re-seated the CPU as I fail to connect how the pin-contacts could influence the thermal resistance.

My fear is now, that the TIM is aging (maybe CCD2 disconnected from the heat-spreader?) and i get degraded CPU performance because CCD2 is too hot while under load.

The next step would be to check the power draw per CCD to actually verify that the thermal resistance has increased or is greatly imbalanced.
Does anyone know how to do that (look at the power-draw per CCD)? GPT says, it is not possible, but who knows.

Is this a common failure pattern for Threadripper? What to do?

I found AMD tech support to be quite responsive to my inquiries. Can’t hurt giving them a try for next steps.
