These were the years I started College, unless Peter Jackson, Matt Damon, Tom Hanks or Tarrantino was involved, I didn’t see this.
Few hints on actors/plot/genre would be nice.

Correct.
It is kind of obscure due to the release. It had a huge marketing campaign leading up to its September 21, 2001 release, but due to having a plane being hijacked and bombs in it, it got delayed since that was not going to go over too well at the time.
