Thinking about wall mounting my PC and switching to hard tubing. Using 1 DDC pump

Currently, my single DDC pump is doing fine with my setup, with soft tubing. CPU temp is 51c at full load, and GPU temp is 38c at full load.

Will replacing the soft tubes with hard tubing, and introducing a bunch of bends, impact the cooling by a significant amount? CPU is a stock 4790k, and GPU is a stock 980ti. (Overclocked occasionally to 4.8GHz @ 1.29v for the CPU, and 1560MHz @ +30mv for GPU)

Res/pump is an XSPC Photon 170 DDC.

I really don't want to get another res/pump combo if I don't have to.

The rads are 240mm and 360mm.

Should try the jayztwocents forums

yes it can work. will it work the best i dunno.

In theory the hard tubing with enough bends will cause more strain to pump it around the system, but you should be fine.

You should be fine, If you're really worried have your radiator sideways instead of up and down.

I didn't think of that. lol

That probably would help a bit. I just gotta think of a layout with that in mind.

Thanks!
