These guys are reading weather satalite data

This guy has a channel where he and his friends build radio receivers to get images that weather satellites just broadcast for everybody to listen to.

They also do other stuff, but this piqued my interest the most.

Also if anybody knows where to easily(-ish) learn practical radio stuff that’d be great. All I know is that’s it’s just an electro-magnetic wave, and that’s pretty much it.

I got a GMDSS radio certificate so I might be able to answer some stuff.

Are you looking for equipment knowledge, like Inmarsat, VHF, MF etc?
Or do you want to know more how radiowaves work?

Wonder if you could see rocket bling from that, itd be nice view point to realize whats the distance and where do SpaceX end that cast
